- MinorMonitor is a free tool that enables parents to proactively protect their children by analyzing their activities and friends on Facebook. More powerful and convenient than “friending”, MinorMonitor identifies and alerts on dangerous activities related to bullying, hate crimes, drug use, sexual references, and much more. MinorMonitor provides both a snapshot and detailed view of your child’s photos and friend network and reports suspicious friends.

- How do I sign up for MinorMonitor? What happens after I sign up?
- Signing up is as easy as clicking the Get Started link at www.MinorMonitor.com. Upon providing an email address and password for login, you will be asked to grant MinorMonitor access to your child’s Facebook account. That is all it takes for MinorMonitor to immediately start generating a dashboard view of your child’s activities and allow you to start monitoring your children!
- How much does MinorMonitor cost?
- Nothing! MinorMonitor is offered completely free so all parents can have this tool available to protect their children. In the future, we may offer optional, premium services for a fee.
- Do I have to sign a contract?
- No. No paperwork is needed to be up and running with MinorMonitor. By registering and using the site, you agree to the Terms of Use.
- Why does MinorMonitor need access to my child’s Facebook account? Can I use MinorMonitor if I don’t have my child’s Facebook credentials?
- A deep analysis of your child’s activities requires having access to your child’s Facebook account. That way you can receive alerts on suspicious activity involving your child’s Facebook account.
- Will my child know if I’m using MinorMonitor to monitor his/her Facebook account?
- No. We highly encourage you to openly discuss the use of MinorMonitor with your child so they understand that your intention is to protect them not violate their privacy.
- Can I monitor multiple children using MinorMonitor?
- Yes, you may monitor up to four children with MinorMonitor.
- Does MinorMonitor cover social networks other than Facebook?
- MinorMonitor supports Facebook, but it is our intention to provide access to additional social networks in the future.
- Can I access MinorMonitor from my iPhone or other handheld devices?
- You can access MinorMonitor as long as you have an Internet connection. Optimization for handheld devices is a feature being considered for a future release.
- How will I know whether MinorMonitor is finding information of interest/concern?
- MinorMonitor makes it easy to view results by offering multiple ways to get the information that matters most to you. You can log into www.MinorMonitor.com and view alerts on the dashboard, or you can have MinorMonitor proactively send you email alerts when suspicious activity is detected.

- MinorMonitor is a product of Social Identity Services Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Infoglide Software. Infoglide offers applications for retail, banking, insurance, government, data and information providers, and law enforcement. The company’s application serves as the platform for passenger screening within the Secure Flight program of the Transportation Threat Assessment and Credentialing (TTAC) department of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
